Most long-term money never makes it to the long term. It gets spent for a good reason, or moved on a bad week. A sealed capsule takes that decision off the table for everyone, you and us included, so eighteen years of patience can actually happen. Set it once, and let time do the part people find hardest.

One-way, by construction
The capsule accepts gifts from anyone you invite — but there is no withdraw button. Not for relatives, not for parents, not for us. Other apps promise restraint; their lock is a policy. Ours is how the vault is built.
Your family holds the keys
Till18 never holds your money. We can’t spend it, lend it, or lose it in a bankruptcy — because it was never ours to hold. The keys belong to your family from day one.
It survives us
Recovery is built into the capsule, not into our servers. At setup you print a recovery kit; with it, your family can open the capsule on unlock day even if Till18 no longer exists. Every family rehearses it once, on purpose.
An emergency valve, in the open
Life happens. Early unsealing is possible only when a majority of the family guardians you appointed approve together, after a 60-day notice every guardian can veto. Never one person alone, and never quietly.

Nothing happens to the money.
In the last two years, families watched kids’ money apps get acquired and shut down, gifting features get “paused”, and account balances get frozen when back-end providers collapsed. An eighteen-year promise cannot depend on one company having eighteen good years.
So we built the capsule to outlive us. It runs on a public ledger we cannot switch off, your family holds the keys, and the printed recovery kit opens it without our app, our servers, or our existence. This is the core of the product — not fine print.

Is this a crypto product? Will my child be “in crypto”?
Your child never touches crypto. There is no trading, no tokens to pick, no app for kids. Your family gives in euros; the capsule holds the asset you chose when you sealed it; your child takes ownership at 18.
The capsule opens with Bitcoin, held on Circle Arc as cirBTC. That is Circle’s Bitcoin on that network, not coins sitting in a wallet you manage yourself. That has real trade-offs, and we set them out in full on the Bitcoin capsule page rather than leaving you to find them. Balances are investments, not bank deposits, and carry risk we’ll always state plainly.
Why Bitcoin first, and not euros?
Because a vault that must keep working without us cannot depend on a licensed partner to keep paying interest. Bitcoin capsules need no yield partner, so they can carry the full promise on day one: one-way deposits, family-held keys, recovery without us.
Euro and Dollar capsules are coming soon. They hold regulated euro and dollar stablecoins — EURC and USDC, issued by Circle (NYSE: CRCL) — which means no bank holds your child’s money, and no bank can close the account, lend it out, or fail with it in hand. They also earn interest while they wait, and we keep one euro in five of it. The honest limit: Circle can freeze those tokens under a court order, and the interest comes from lending markets, so it moves with them and is never guaranteed.

What if the market is down when they turn 18?
A Bitcoin capsule can go down as well as up, and we would rather say that plainly than bury it. What an eighteen-year horizon buys you is time, and gifts arriving across nearly two decades at many different prices — the opposite of betting on one moment.

Can we really not take the money out early?
No — and that is the product. There is one withdrawal path and it belongs to your child, after the unlock date. The only exception is the emergency valve: a majority of the guardians you appointed, a 60-day public notice, and a veto for any single guardian. Never one person alone, and never quietly.
What if we lose our phone, our password, everything?
You print a recovery kit at sealing and keep it with the birth certificate: the capsule’s address, plain-language instructions, and a fallback key split three ways among your guardians. Logging back in is an email away; recovering the capsule doesn’t need us at all.
Who can give, and what do they need?
Anyone you send the link to, from any country we serve. They need a card or a bank transfer and about a minute. No app, no account, no crypto knowledge — and they can write a note that your child reads at 18.
When do capsules open?
We open in small groups rather than all at once, because the first thing every family does with us is rehearse recovering their capsule without us — and that deserves a real conversation, not a queue.

Where will Till18 be available?
We open in the European Union, from a Netherlands base, with Spain served from day one — and in the United Kingdom, through pages approved under the UK’s financial-promotion rules. The United States comes later. The full country list lives on the availability page, and the gifting link will respect it too.
What about taxes?
Gifts to a child are treated differently in every country, and we are not your tax adviser. What we can do is give you a complete, dated record of every gift and every fee, from the first euro, so that whoever advises you has real numbers to work with.
