Ten minutes now. Eighteen years of doing nothing.

A capsule is built to survive inattention. You set it up once, the family fills it whenever they like, and the only date anyone has to remember is one you already know by heart.

Step 1

Seal the capsule

Ten minutes, once

Name the child, choose the unlock age, appoint your guardians, print the recovery kit. Then seal it with a three-second hold — deliberately slow, because it is the one action nobody can undo.

From that moment the rules are set in a contract, not in our policy. We could not change them for you if you asked.

  • Unlock age 18 by default, 16 to 30 if your family prefers
  • The child is named the permanent beneficiary at creation, so the capsule can never be stranded
  • The recovery kit prints before sealing, not after
  • Email login, no seed phrase, nothing to write down
Step 2

Share one link

Once, then whenever there is a birthday

Your gifting link goes in the family group chat and stays there for years. Grandparents, godparents and old friends open it on whatever device they have, give by card or bank transfer, and write a note.

They never make an account. They never see a wallet. Most of them never learn what the capsule runs on.

  • Works logged out, on any phone, from any country we serve
  • Every gift can carry a note or a video, sealed until 18
  • The giver sees the exact cost before they pay
  • Gifts are one-way the moment they land
Step 3

Let the quiet years happen

About one minute a year

Nothing needs managing. Once a year we ask each guardian to confirm they are still reachable, and we send you a short recap of what arrived and who sent it.

If a guardian goes quiet, you will know long before it matters, and you can replace them without touching the capsule’s balance.

  • A yearly proof-of-life ping to every guardian
  • A yearly recap for the family
  • Guardians can be rotated; the capsule’s rules cannot
  • One recovery rehearsal, on purpose, in the first weeks
Step 4

Hand over the keys, quietly

Around their seventeenth birthday

A year before the capsule opens we contact your child for the first time. They set up their own login, which becomes the key their account already pointed to — nothing moves, nothing is transferred, no window opens early.

  • The child’s account was named at creation; this only swaps who signs for it
  • Nothing about the unlock date changes
  • Parents stay informed throughout
Step 5

Letters first, money second

The morning of their 18th birthday

Your child proves who they are and takes full ownership. Before any balance appears, they read the letters: eighteen years of birthdays in the family’s own words, in the order they were written.

Then the capsule opens. They can keep it with us or take it anywhere — the choice is theirs, and it is free either way.

  • Letters open before the balance, always
  • Taking self-custody costs nothing
  • Nothing expires if they are not ready that day

And the part everyone asks about second.

Can we add money ourselves?

Yes, whenever you like, by card or bank transfer, one-off or on a repeating schedule. Adding is the only direction the capsule moves in.

What if we move country?

The capsule does not care where you live. Your login and the gifting link work anywhere we serve; only the currency you read it in is likely to change.

What if we want a second child to have one?

Each child gets their own capsule, with their own guardians, link and unlock date. Premium covers every child in the family for a single one-time fee.

What if something goes badly wrong before 18?

There is an emergency valve, and it is deliberately slow: a majority of the guardians you appointed must agree, a 60-day public notice runs, and any single guardian can veto it. Never one person alone, and never quietly.

Their 18th birthday is already on the calendar.

Setting one up takes ten minutes. We open capsules in small groups so every founding family gets a real conversation.

For parents and guardians (18+). One email to confirm, one when your capsule is ready — nothing else.

iPhone and Android apps arrive with the first capsules. Everything works in a browser on day one.
